Les Palpitantes

Some time after the birth of her first child, Elsa invites her lifelong friends to take to the road for a few days. As the shared landscapes go by, she realises that one of them is trying to break a silence and put words to buried violence, of which no clear image remains. From wild swims to night-time wanderings, the story unfolds over several years and weaves the threads of their memories — turning the intimate into a political act, to make visible everything that has not yet been said.
