Avec ou sans moi

Trung and Thi live in a mountainous province of north-western Vietnam, on the Laotian border. Like many young men from this region crossed by the heroin route, they are addicts and HIV-positive. Thi clings to life and to his relationship, determined to get clean; Trung has chosen death and refuses all treatment. Over six months, the film follows these two paths and the love — familial and conjugal — that drugs and illness undo.
